Liverpools Conor Bradley…

Liverpool defender Conor Bradley is expected to miss the remainder of the season due to a severe knee injury sustained during Thursday’s 0-0 draw against Arsenal.

Bradley collapsed off the ball during stoppage time at the Emirates Stadium and was promptly stretchered off the field, with head coach Arne Slot expressing that the club “feared the worst” for the right-back.

Subsequent scans confirmed that Bradley has avoided an ACL injury; however, he has incurred significant damage to the bone and ligaments in his left knee.

This is a major setback for Slot’s team, who have already lost teenage centre-back Giovanni Leoni to an ACL injury earlier in the season.

Bradley’s injury led to a scuffle on the field in north London, where Arsenal substitute Gabriel Martinelli hurled the ball at the 22-year-old and tried to push him off the pitch as his team sought a late goal.

The Brazil international later offered apologies publicly and privately for his actions.
