Martha Stewart Becomes…

SWANSEA, Wales — Martha Stewart has become a minority owner of the Welsh soccer team Swansea City, joining her friend Snoop Dogg in this venture.

The historic club, which currently competes in the English second division after its days in the Premier League, did not reveal any financial details in Tuesday’s announcement regarding the American business mogul and media personality.

The 84-year-old lifestyle icon attended Swansea’s recent 2-1 home victory over Wrexham last Friday, a team that has also garnered attention due to its celebrity ownership.

“Martha is a close friend of Snoop Dogg, and she came to the Wrexham game as our guest,” stated owners Brett Cravatt and Jason Cohen in a message to fans.

“We are thrilled to announce that Martha, a leading figure in homemaking and lifestyle, has followed in the footsteps of Snoop and Luka Modric to become a minority owner of our football club.

“We are excited to have Martha on board, and we believe that her experience at Friday night’s match has only enhanced her enthusiasm and excitement for being part of Swansea City.”

Snoop Dogg became a co-owner and investor in the club back in July.

Stewart was not quoted in the club’s announcement and has not made any comments on her social media profiles.
