Newcastle United is taking fans on a nostalgic journey to the mid-1990s with the launch of a limited-edition apparel line inspired by their iconic kit from the 1995-96 season.
The Newcastle United ’95 Collection is packed with vintage-inspired merchandise, but the highlight is undoubtedly the authentic recreation of the famed 1995-96 Adidas away shirt, a fan favorite that remains cherished to this day.
The shirt features striking maroon and blue horizontal stripes, an elegant ecru button-up crew collar, and the rounded Newcastle Brown Ale logo, all of which contribute to its timeless appeal.

This iconic kit was worn by Kevin Keegan’s team, featuring legends like Les Ferdinand, David Ginola, and Faustino Asprilla—who joined in January 1996—during a season marked by the thrilling competition with eventual champions Manchester United in one of the greatest Premier League title races, although the Magpies ultimately fell short.
This design also made a comeback with the club’s 2024-25 away kit, which offered a modern twist on the classic look.
In addition to the reissued shirt, the heritage collection includes several replica ’90s training tops crafted from the same sturdy fabrics and design aesthetic as the originals, featuring V-shaped striped panels on the chest and vibrant maroon accents synonymous with the jersey.
