Pochettino eager for PL…

Mauricio Pochettino has expressed his ambition to eventually secure victory in both the Premier League and the Champions League.

The Argentine manager is currently focused on leading the United States in next summer’s World Cup, taking place in their home tournament. However, he harbors long-term aspirations to return to the pinnacle of European club football.

In a recent interview with the BBC, the former Tottenham, Paris Saint-Germain, and Chelsea coach shared his eagerness to return to England‘s top division.

“The Premier League is the best in the world. I definitely miss it. While I am very happy in the USA, I always think about making a return someday,” he stated. “It is the most competitive league, and I would love the opportunity to come back.”

The U.S. received a favorable draw for the World Cup, which will be co-hosted by Canada and Mexico. Pochettino’s squad is expected to advance from their group, which features Paraguay, Australia, and the winner of a European playoff between Türkiye, Slovakia, Kosovo, and Romania.

When asked about his ultimate career goal, Pochettino replied, “It is to win the Premier League and the Champions League.”

“We were so close with Tottenham. I am determined to achieve this. I consider myself still young, with the energy, experience, and motivation to pursue this in the future,” he added.
