Ousmane Dembélé played a crucial role for Paris Saint-Germain, scoring two goals in a dominating 5-0 victory over Marseille during their Le Classique clash at Parc des Princes.
The French forward shined in the first half with two goals, and after halftime, PSG solidified their lead with an own goal from Facundo Medina, followed by strikes from Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Lee Kang-In, securing all three points.
PSG will remain at the top of the table, sitting two points clear of second-placed Lens, while Marseille’s defeat sees them slip out of the top three, overtaken by Lyon after their win against Nantes.
This match marked the third encounter of the season between both sides; Marseille had previously won 1-0 in their earlier league meeting in September, while PSG emerged victorious in a penalty shootout to capture the Champions Trophy in January.

PSG threatened early on, with Désiré Doué having a shot blocked and Bradley Barcola missing the target. Their persistence paid off in the 12th minute when Nuno Mendes set up Dembélé, who found the back of the net.
Marseille’s Amine Gouiri almost equalized shortly after, but his shot was saved by Matvey Safonov. The visitors continued to press, with Mason Greenwood having a shot blocked and Quinten Timber missing the target.
Doué’s attempt was held by Jeffrey de Lange, but Dembélé struck again in the 37th minute, making a brilliant run from the right and firing into the near post.
He came close to completing his hat trick before halftime, but couldn’t convert as PSG headed into the break with a two-goal lead.
PSG maintained their momentum after halftime, as De Lange made a crucial save against João Neves, and Doué struck the woodwork. Both teams continued to threaten before Marseille had a chance when Greenwood’s cross found Igor Paixão, whose header was saved by Safonov.
PSG once again hit the post through Barcola’s strike, with Senny Mayulu sending another shot just wide.
The home side doubled their lead in the 64th minute when Medina scored an own goal, and two minutes later, PSG scored again as Dembélé assisted Kvaratskhelia, who slotted the ball into the bottom left corner.
Marseille’s nightmare was completed in the 74th minute when substitute Lee Kang-In netted PSG’s fifth with a calm finish into the corner, sealing the victory.
