Pulisic Breaks Drought as…

Christian Pulisic marked his first goal involvement of 2026, helping AC Milan rally in the second half for a thrilling 3-2 victory over Torino on Saturday.

Following a lackluster first half, Milan struck twice in quick succession to clinch the game, closing the gap to Serie A leaders Inter Milan to just six points.

With this win, Milan reclaimed second place, one point ahead of Napoli, who secured a 1-0 victory against Cagliari on Friday. Inter is set to face Fiorentina on Sunday.

Although Torino dominated the first half, Milan took the lead in the 37th minute, thanks to a sensational strike from defender Strahinja Pavlovic.

Pavlovic unleashed a spectacular half-volley from 25 meters after the ball was cleared, sending it soaring just between the crossbar and the fingertips of goalkeeper Alberto Paleari.

Just before halftime, Giovanni Simeone managed to equalize, eliciting some frustration from the home fans. However, coach Massimiliano Allegri’s halftime adjustments revitalized Milan.

Adrien Rabiot restored Milan’s lead in the 54th minute, scoring off a cross from Pulisic with his knee, marking Pulisic’s first assist in 11 Serie A matches.

Shortly thereafter, Youssouf Fofana doubled the Rossoneri’s lead just two minutes later.

The match concluded with tension as Nikola Vlasic scored a penalty for Torino after Pavlovic was called for a foul on Simeone.
