Pulisic Set to Make…

AC Milan manager Massimiliano Allegri has announced that United States forward Christian Pulisic is cleared to return following a hamstring injury this weekend.

Pulisic sustained a low-grade tear in his right hamstring during the first half of the U.S. men’s national team’s 2-1 friendly win over Australia on October 17.

In a press conference on Friday, Allegri confirmed that Pulisic is available for Milan’s match against Parma on Saturday. “Pulisic is back, doing well, and ready to play,” Allegri stated.

While Pulisic is back, he was not included in Mauricio Pochettino’s squad for the upcoming USMNT friendlies against Paraguay and Uruguay on November 15 and November 18. Pochettino explained that he left Pulisic out to ensure he fully recovers.

Pulisic’s availability is a significant boost for Milan, where the 27-year-old has been in excellent form this season, netting six goals in eight appearances across all competitions.

CURRENTLY, Milan is in third place in the Serie A, just one point behind reigning champions Napoli.

Allegri expressed optimism, saying, “There’s a great atmosphere at Milanello. We must maintain our focus and composure, even during challenging moments. Our aim is still to qualify for the Champions League. The season is long with many competitors, so we will work hard and strive for improvement, then assess our position come March.”

Alongside the update on Pulisic, Allegri also mentioned that Mexico striker Santiago Gimenez and French midfielder Adrien Rabiot are also expected to return from their injuries after the November international break.
