Investigations into the origins and distribution channels are ongoing, the council said.
Councillor Neil Ross hailed the raid as “an excellent outcome”.
He said: “With the World Cup in full swing, this serves as a timely reminder that criminals take advantage of major sporting events by flooding the market with fake merchandise to profit from fan demand.”
“To be clear, this is not a victimless crime. Counterfeiters undercut legitimate businesses, cheat supporters, and sell items with no assurances about how or where they were made or whether they meet basic safety standards.”
