Cristian Romero is keen on a move to Arsenal; however, Tottenham Hotspur intends to block the transfer to their fierce rivals, according to The Sun. The 28-year-old defender is likely to leave Spurs this summer amidst interest from Atlético Madrid and Inter Milan, but The Sun now claims Arsenal is among the interested clubs. With William Saliba set to be sidelined for an “extended period” due to back issues sustained during the World Cup, acquisition of Romero would be a significant gain for the Gunners. However, such a transfer would be entirely unacceptable for their North London neighbors. Furthermore, Mundo Deportivo reports that the Argentina international is waiting for a call from Barcelona, especially with sources indicating that Ronald Araújo is close to a season-long loan transfer to Liverpool from Barça.

– Barcelona is reportedly preparing a second offer for Rodri, who has expressed a preference to join the Blaugrana, according to Fabrizio Romano. Barcelona is working on the financial terms for the midfielder and is optimistic that a deal can be closed soon. Earlier, it appeared that the 30-year-old would be heading to Real Madrid, but it seems Los Blancos are falling behind in the pursuit of the Spain captain.

– Following the missed opportunity to sign Manchester City’s Rodri, Real Madrid may target Arsenal midfielder Martín Zubimendi, according to Mundo Deportivo. The 27-year-old faced challenges toward the end of last season, and his position is now uncertain with the arrival of Bruno Guimarães from Newcastle United. While Real Madrid showed interest last summer, Arsenal’s asking price of €90M, along with competing interest from Chelsea, complicates the situation.

– Multiple clubs, including Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa, and Fulham have been in discussions regarding Real Madrid striker Endrick, according to TEAMtalk. The 20-year-old is considering his options due to limited first-team opportunities at the Bernabéu, particularly following the arrivals of Carlos Espí and Yan Diomande. The Brazilian international favors a move to England if he exits Spain, and his representatives are evaluating potential departure scenarios with Real Madrid.

– Both Manchester United and Liverpool are keeping a close eye on AS Monaco midfielder Lamine Camara, reports Footmercato. The Ligue 1 club is reportedly asking for €50 million for the young midfielder. Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain recently paid a similar sum to sign Maghnes Akliouche. Crystal Palace has already put forth an official bid, and Nottingham Forest is expected to follow up with their offer. Monaco remains firm on their asking price but is also looking to replace the Senegalese international, eyeing Cruz Azul‘s Érik Lira as a potential replacement.
