All five Scottish clubs involved in European competition have chosen to postpone their Premiership fixtures slated for Saturday, 22 August.
Play-offs for the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League will be played over two legs, either side of that affected weekend.
Celtic and Rangers are both assured of reaching that stage in Europe, though Rangers still do not know which competition they will enter.
Previously, postponements required agreement from both clubs, but since April 2025 any team competing in Europe has been able to unilaterally delay a league match.
Premiership champions Celtic are still awaiting confirmation of their Champions League play-off opponents, having been knocked out at that stage by Kazakh side Kairat Almaty last season.
Hearts trail 4-0 on aggregate in their Champions League second-round qualifier against Sturm Graz and are likely to drop into the Europa League third qualifying round, where Rangers have already been paired with Polish side Jagiellonia Bialystok.
Hearts would avoid a play-off only if they overturn Sturm Graz on aggregate and then lose in the Champions League third qualifying round, which would send them directly into the Europa League league phase.
Motherwell and Hibernian are midway through their Conference League second-round ties, and their league games will be postponed only if they reach the play-offs.
Motherwell lead 2-0 on aggregate against Faroese side HB, while Hibs lost the first leg by the same scoreline to Kosovan outfit Malisheva.
The rearranged fixtures will be played midweek on either 8/9 or 15/16 September.
