LIVERPOOL, England — Following a heavy loss to PSV Eindhoven in the UEFA Champions League, Liverpool’s coach Arne Slot has stated he is “not worried” about his future at the club.
The Reds faced a disappointing 4-1 defeat at Anfield against the Eredivisie leaders on Wednesday, marking their ninth defeat in the last 12 matches across all competitions.

Liverpool currently sits 12th in the Premier League and 13th in the Champions League, increasing the pressure on Slot to revitalize the team.
“I analyze and strive to assist the players as best as I can. Clearly, I’m not executing that as effectively as last season. When it comes to individual mistakes, they often stem from collective dynamics,” he remarked. “So, I acknowledge the need for improvement and work on that every single day.”
Prior to this match, Liverpool had already experienced 3-0 losses to Manchester City and Nottingham Forest. They have now conceded three or more goals in three consecutive games for the first time since September 1992.
When questioned about the support from Liverpool’s upper management, Slot stated, “Yes, I feel supported, but they don’t need to reassure me constantly. We communicate regularly, especially during successful stretches. They offer their assistance when we’re struggling, so I perceive that level of trust in our discussions. However, I haven’t spoken to them since the game, so we’ll see.”
