Fulham is currently negotiating with Manchester City for the acquisition of winger Oscar Bobb, according to sources from ESPN.
Bobb has become available following City’s signing of Antoine Semenyo from AFC Bournemouth in a £64 million ($86m) deal.
Fulham is investigating the financial feasibility of bringing the 22-year-old to Craven Cottage before the January transfer window closes.
Sources indicate that Manchester City values the player at approximately £30 million ($40 million) and prefers a permanent transfer in January rather than a loan with an obligation to buy in the summer.
Bundesliga team Borussia Dortmund has also expressed interest in Bobb, but Fulham currently leads the pursuit for his signature.
However, a potential issue is Bobb’s current unavailability due to a muscle injury.
He was substituted early during the 2-0 Carabao Cup victory against Brentford in December and has not played since.

Bobb was not part of the Manchester City squad that traveled to Norway for the Champions League match against Bodo/Glimt on Wednesday, adding to his recent setbacks, having missed almost the entire previous season due to a broken leg.
This season, he has made six appearances, primarily as a substitute.
