According to sources, Liverpool is preparing to submit an official bid for Paris Saint-Germain forward Bradley Barcola.
Liverpool has initiated preliminary discussions with Barcola’s representatives, and the player is reportedly enthusiastic about joining the club at Anfield.
Barcola, whose contract extends until 2028, is estimated to be valued at approximately €150 million (£128.5m/$170.9m).
In light of Mohamed Salah‘s exit at the end of last season, Liverpool is actively seeking an elite winger.
Liverpool has shown a long-standing interest in Barcola, who has expressed his desire not to renew his contract with PSG.
The French international totaled 49 appearances for PSG last season, scoring 13 goals and providing seven assists as the team secured both the Ligue 1 title and the Champions League.
Barcola has faced stiff competition for playing time from teammates Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Désiré Doué, which has limited his game time, prompting him to seek a new challenge.
Barcola, who scored three goals in eight appearances for France at the summer’s World Cup, primarily plays as a left winger but is also capable of performing on the right.
