Spurs Kolo Muani:…

Tottenham Hotspur forward Randal Kolo Muani expressed that the team is fully supportive of their head coach, Thomas Frank, despite the mounting pressure, stating that “everyone is happy with him.”

Tottenham has faced a tough stretch, displaying inconsistent performances that left them in 14th place as Christmas approached.

However, Kolo Muani’s lively contributions have quickly endeared him to the fans, and recently he participated in the club’s One Hotspur Junior Christmas Party at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

“It’s a lot of fun, and for the kids, it’s a wonderful occasion. This is pure magic for Christmas, and everyone is enjoying it, which is great,” Kolo Muani shared.

“I definitely feel that support from the fans when I go out to play. I’ve seen a lot of supporters and that makes me really happy. I feel good overall.”

The France international also defended Frank amidst fan criticism, saying, “We have a really good relationship. We communicate a lot, and he has excellent coaching staff. I’m pleased with him.”

“My teammates and I fully trust our coach, and we are all content with him. We are putting in hard work as we head into this busy period,” he added.

Kolo Muani is aware that only by delivering strong performances and scoring goals for Tottenham can he fulfill his World Cup aspirations.

He previously represented France in Qatar, where he had a key shot on goal that was saved by Argentina‘s goalkeeper Emi Martínez during extra time of the final, before ultimately losing in a penalty shootout in 2022.

While Argentina celebrated their World Cup victory and Kolo Muani secured a transfer to Paris Saint-Germain six months later, limited playing time caused him to forget his international duties.

His consistent performances for Spurs led to a recall from the French national team for last month’s training camp, but an unfortunate broken jaw prevented him from participating under Didier Deschamps yet again.

When asked about his motivation for the upcoming World Cup, less than six months away, Kolo Muani stated that his primary focus was on his performance with Tottenham, who are set to face Crystal Palace on Sunday.

“I feel great and my teammates have been very supportive,” Kolo Muani mentioned.

“Right now, I want to perform really well at the club. That’s my priority, and after that, we’ll see about the World Cup.”

“I aim to showcase my skills and score more goals. We need to win more matches, and if I want to be part of the World Cup, I must deliver strong performances.”
