USMNTs McKennie Signs New…

United States midfielder Weston McKennie has signed a new contract with Juventus that will keep him with the club until 2030, as officially announced by the Serie A side.

According to sources, multiple clubs from Italy, Spain, the U.S., and England showed interest in McKennie, but he expressed a desire to remain at Juventus.

Insiders revealed that McKennie will earn $7 million annually after taxes, with a guaranteed four-year term and no options.

The 27-year-old has quickly become a favorite of Juventus’ new manager Luciano Spalletti, who values McKennie’s versatility, even using him as a striker on occasions.

Since Spalletti’s appointment in October, McKennie has scored eight goals, more than any other player on the team.

“McKennie has been an influential asset on both the right and left wings for [coach] Luciano Spalletti, winning the admiration of fans, and he is now benefiting from his consistent hard work during training,” Juventus stated in their announcement.
