Manchester United players Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko have withdrawn from their national teams ahead of the March international matches.
Mbeumo, who represents Cameroon, had to exit United’s recent 2-2 game against Bournemouth after 71 minutes, and his departure from the national squad is merely a precaution as stated by the club’s website.
This means he will not participate in friendlies against China or Australia.
On the other hand, Sesko, who plays for Slovenia, has been dealing with an unspecified issue for a few weeks and has opted out of the Slovenia squad to ensure he can recover fully and finish the season strongly with United.
This means he will not take part in the upcoming friendlies against Hungary and Montenegro.

In a silver lining for United, Noussair Mazraoui has recovered from his illness and is set to join the Morocco squad for matches against Ecuador and Paraguay.
Michael Carrick’s team benefits from an additional week off, having been eliminated from the FA Cup and not participating in European competitions this season.
They are scheduled to face Leeds United on April 13, followed by matches against Chelsea and Brentford.
