This agreement followed a meeting between the forward’s representatives and club executives a day prior, where discussions resulted in a more favorable contract proposal from Madrid, leading to optimism about reaching a consensus.

“Real Madrid and Vinícius Jr have come to an agreement to extend our player’s contract, locking him in with us until June 30, 2032,” the club stated. “Vinícius made his move to Real Madrid in July 2018 at the age of 18. Over his eight seasons with the club, he has played 375 matches, scored 128 goals, and secured 14 trophies, including two Champions League titles, three Club World Cups, two UEFA Super Cups, three LaLiga championships, one Copa del Rey, and three Spanish Supercopas. “His contributions to these achievements have been vital, showcasing his play, assists, and goals.
