Wales international goalkeeper Safia Middleton-Patel has joined Watford on a season-long loan from Manchester United for 2026-27. She previously spent the second half of the 2023-24 campaign with the Hornets and is now set for a full season in Women’s Super League 2.
The 21-year-old made her senior United debut against Newcastle United in December 2024 and recorded three appearances under Marc Skinner last season, including the Champions League victory over Paris Saint-Germain at Old Trafford.
