Wrexham mounted a thrilling comeback in the second half to secure a 2-2 draw against West Brom, propelling them into the Championship playoff spots.
The hosts initially took the lead with a deflected free kick from Isaac Price, which touched George Dobson before finding the net. Josh Maja later scored from the penalty spot, marking Albion’s first of the season, and doubling their advantage before halftime.
Wrexham, who struggled in the first half, equalized just two minutes after the break when Josh Windass expertly curled a shot from 20 yards into the top corner.
The second equalizer came in the 62nd minute as Lewis O’Brien and Dobson contested to see who claimed the decisive touch on a cross from Callum Doyle.
Wrexham looked more likely to claim a winner as time ticked away, but they ultimately owed their draw to Arthur Okonkwo, who made a stunning late save against Albion substitute Daryl Dike.

This result places Wrexham in sixth position, one point ahead of Southampton, who have a game in hand. The two teams will clash in North Wales on Tuesday.
West Brom, under interim manager James Morrison, remain four points clear of the relegation zone in 20th place, extending their unbeaten streak to five matches.
Energized by recent victories over Hull and Bristol City, Albion started strongly in the match.
Aune Heggebo managed to shake off Dominic Hyam, but his shot lacked the necessary power, while Jamaldeen Jimoh-Aloba missed the target from 18 yards.
West Brom took a deserved lead in the 26th minute when Issa Kaboré fouled Callum Styles just outside the box.
Price delivered a sharp ball from the angle, and Dobson redirected it past Okonkwo at the near post.
Kaboré’s woes continued as he committed a foul against Jayson Molumby during a corner, which led to a penalty given by referee Bobby Madley.
Maja smashed the penalty into the corner with significant power, even though Okonkwo guessed correctly and dove to his right.
Wrexham struggled to register any shots on target but nearly found a way back into the contest during first-half stoppage time.

Ousmane Diakite’s header struck Nat Phillips, narrowly avoiding the post while Josh Griffiths would have been beaten.
It’s likely that some stern words were exchanged in the Wrexham dressing room at half-time, as Phil Parkinson’s side came out rejuvenated for the second half.
George Thomason and O’Brien combined well to set up Windass, who claimed his 12th goal of the season in spectacular fashion.
Wrexham dominated play, with Hyam coming close before Sam Smith’s header struck the roof of the net after earlier missing from a close range.
The equalizer came when O’Brien backheeled Doyle’s cross towards the goal, with Dobson perhaps providing the final touch to send it over the line.
Both teams had opportunities to claim victory in the closing moments, with Okonkwo again denying Dike from close range while Griffiths managed to deflect a shot from the returning Kieffer Moore.
