Wolves Part Ways with…

Wolverhampton Wanderers have parted ways with manager Vitor Pereira following a winless beginning to the season.

The Portuguese coach, who signed a three-year contract at Molineux last September, was released after the club found itself at the foot of the table with an 0-2-8 record after ten matches.

Pereira, who joined Wolves in December 2024, was instrumental in helping the team avoid relegation, finishing 16th last season. However, he has faced difficulties this term, culminating in a recent 3-0 loss to Fulham on Saturday.

“When Pereira arrived at Molineux last December, he and his coaching staff made a significant impact, leading the team to a strong finish in the Premier League,” the club stated. “Nevertheless, this season’s results and performances have not met acceptable standards, prompting the decision for a change in leadership.”

“All eight members of Pereira’s backroom staff have also been released by the club.”
