Yamal and Olmo Shine as…

Dani Olmo scored two goals as Barcelona came back from a goal down to secure their fourth consecutive LaLiga win with a hard-fought 3-1 victory over Alaves.

With this win, Barcelona sits two points clear of Real Madrid at the top of the table, although Xabi Alonso’s team has a game in hand, which is set to be played against Girona on Sunday.

Barcelona aimed to recover from their disappointing midweek Champions League loss to Chelsea, but their troubles seemed to worsen as Alaves took an early lead within the first minute, thanks to a goal from Pablo Ibáñez.

However, Barcelona quickly bounced back, with Lamine Yamal leveling the score just eight minutes in, followed by Olmo’s goal that flipped the match in their favor midway through the first half.

In their second match back at Camp Nou, Barcelona had to wait until stoppage time to secure all three points when Olmo netted his second goal of the evening.

The visitors shocked the home crowd by taking an early lead, as Barcelona failed to clear a corner, and the ball ricocheted around the six-yard box, allowing Ibañez to poke in the opener.

Barcelona quickly found their rhythm and equalized just seven minutes later. A brilliant cross from Raphinha set up Yamal, who finished emphatically into the roof of the net.

Alaves sought to regain the lead, with Abde Rebbach making a swift run down the left and attempting to find Jonny Otto at the back post, only for Garcia to make a crucial save.

Barcelona capitalized on their chance a few minutes later—Raphinha found Olmo in the box, and he tapped in his second goal of the season.

The hosts nearly extended their lead just before halftime when Yamal rounded Antonio Sivera but shockingly missed the target.

Continuing to press for a third goal, Barcelona saw Sivera again deny Robert Lewandowski’s point-blank header at the hour mark.

Yamal came close once more, firing just over the crossbar from distance.

The three points were finally secured in stoppage time, as Olmo connected with Yamal before sending a well-placed shot into the bottom corner.
