The latest highlight in Vozinha’s incredible journey unfolded on Thursday when he received a warm welcome during his unveiling at Chilean club Colo Colo, which he joined on a free transfer.

Colo Colo went all out to honor the Cape Verdean goalkeeper, showcasing the word “AURA” on the field and displaying some of their 34 league titles, complemented by a dramatic parachute delivery of his No. 29 jersey into the David Arellano Monumental Stadium.

He was also treated to live performances, including a show by Argentine band Garras de Amor.

However, Vozinha wasn’t alone in the spotlight on this day in the football world.

Liverpool icon Salah, now a free agent after parting ways with the club, signed with Turkish Super Lig team Trabzonspor on Thursday and received an enthusiastic reception from fans.

Salah’s welcome festivities began at the airport, where he was swarmed by supporters wearing the club’s No. 61 jersey β€” a jersey number significant to Trabzon β€” before later donning his preferred No. 10.

He then proceeded to sign his contract and participate in his initial training session before being formally introduced at the club’s Senol Gunes Stadium, where a lively crowd awaited, many waving flags and setting off fireworks.
