Continuing to deliver in crucial moments under Thomas Sørensen’s guidance, the German forward netted a late goal against Orlando, sealing a comeback victory for the Whitecaps and adding to his illustrious career highlights.
1. Luis Suárez vs Atlanta
We conclude this week’s list with another modern football icon, Luis Suárez.
As his illustrious career winds down, the Uruguayan still has a few memorable moments left in the tank. He delighted fans with a stunning long-range volley into the top corner, reminiscent of his glory days at Ajax, Liverpool, and Barcelona.
