Ivan Juric’s dismissal from Atalanta appears imminent, with Raffaele Palladino emerging as the frontrunner to assume the role.
Atalanta has already shown signs of frustration with Juric, particularly after a string of poor Serie A performances that included five straight draws followed by losses against both Udinese and Sassuolo.
Today’s 3-0 defeat at home to Sassuolo seems to be the breaking point, leaving the team trailing newly-promoted Sassuolo in the standings.
Palladino poised to take over at Atalanta

As the international break approaches, Atalanta is ready to officially terminate Juric’s short-lived tenure, which began just this past summer.
During his time in charge, Juric has led the team to four wins, eight draws, and three losses across all competitions.
His appointment was influenced by his relationship as a protégé of former coach Gian Piero Gasperini, which may shape the club’s future decisions.
Palladino’s candidacy is also strengthened by his assistant, Federico Peluso, a former player for Atalanta.

While both Palladino and Thiago Motta are considered, Palladino continues to be the preferred candidate.
The 41-year-old parted ways with Fiorentina by mutual consent after just one season at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.
