Evan Ferguson has not been selected for the Irish national team.
The Roma striker will stay in the capital to focus on his recovery, as confirmed by Gian Piero Gasperini following the match against Udinese:
“Ferguson isn’t fit, and we hope to have someone back during the break,” stated the Giallorossi coach.
The injury situation at Roma remains challenging. Angelino continues to train separately, while Dybala, Bailey, and Ferguson are still on their road to recovery.
Artem Dovbyk’s condition is also under evaluation, having left the match at the Olimpico early due to a hamstring issue.
With the international break approaching, Gasperini is optimistic about the possibility of reintegrating some players ahead of the league’s resumption. The Giallorossi are set to face Cremonese on November 23, aiming to regain strength to bolster their position in the standings.
