Barcelona is poised to narrow their deficit to Real Madrid to three points after taking a 2-1 lead against Celta Vigo in their La Liga match at Balaidos.

The first goal occurred within the first 10 minutes, coming from a penalty kick. After a VAR review, Marcos Alonso was called for a handball, allowing Robert Lewandowski to convert the spot-kick from 12 yards. However, Barcelona’s lead was short-lived, as Sergio Carreira capitalized on their high defensive line and equalized by firing the ball past Wojciech Szczesny.

But Barcelona has regained the lead, thanks to Lewandowski again. A brilliant cross from Marcus Rashford set him up perfectly, and Lewandowski finished from close range for his second goal of the night.

Barcelona has struggled to find a presence in the box lately, so it’s no surprise to see Lewandowski net twice in the first half. He’ll be eager to complete his hat-trick at Balaidos.
