Real Madrid Trio Aiming…

On Tuesday, Real Madrid held their second training session of the week, concentrating on the upcoming match against Elche this Sunday.

After a challenging period with no wins against Liverpool and Rayo Vallecano, Xabi Alonso and the team must bounce back and aim to secure all three points in this La Liga encounter.

Mastantuono, Rudiger, Tchouameni in the Race for Recovery

Leading up to the match, reports from Mundo Deportivo indicate that three injured players, Franco Mastantuono, Antonio Rudiger, and Aurelien Tchouameni, are striving to return to the squad.

Mastantuono has been suffering from pubalgia and it was previously anticipated that his return might occur in December. However, he has commenced individual training on the pitch this week.

Tchouameni and Rudiger have also been on the training field recently, and they continued their sessions today. Both are eager to be included in the lineup against Elche on Sunday.

If they successfully return, it would significantly bolster Alonso’s squad, enhancing its depth and quality as they navigate through a challenging set of fixtures as league leaders.

In other news, Kylian Mbappe has experienced ankle discomfort, while Eduardo Camavinga is dealing with muscle issues, prompting both to leave the France camp early. Nevertheless, they are expected to recover in time for the clash with Elche.

Additionally, Dean Huijsen, who exited the Spain camp due to muscle overload without playing, is not injured and will be available for the La Liga match after a period of rest.

Thibaut Courtois, who missed Belgium’s matches due to a right adductor longus muscle injury, and Federico Valverde, who was absent from two friendlies for Uruguay because of a muscle concern in his right semimembranosus, are also anticipated to feature unless any setbacks arise.
