This weekend marked a significant moment for the Cherries as Turkish forward Enes Unal shone on the Premier League stage.

The 28-year-old unfortunately spent much of the previous season sidelined due to an ACL injury, having to watch as his team excelled and added new talent in his preferred role.

Despite some fans speculating that his time on the South Coast was coming to an end, his dramatic equalizer against West Ham indicates he might be ready to contribute positively once again, showcasing his unique skills within the Cherries lineup.

After a successful spell scoring goals in Spain and being part of a dynamic Manchester City youth team, expectations were high when Enes joined Bournemouth in February 2024. However, injuries, including a prior ACL setback at Getafe, have marred his time at the club.

Fortunately, Enes has demonstrated determination in his recovery and is now poised to compete alongside Evanilson and Eli Kroupi in the Cherries attack.

Enes brings a distinct edge to Bournemouth’s offense—his notable physical strength, ability to drop back and support play, and expertise in taking free kicks. His return might just inspire a rejuvenated goal-scoring form in Evanilson.
