According to the federation, the breach was addressed promptly after unauthorized access was detected, which had been achieved through a compromised account.

“The FFF’s team took immediate action to secure the software and the data, including disabling the compromised account and resetting all user passwords,” it stated.

The federation has lodged a formal complaint regarding the incident. It noted that the breach was restricted to personal information such as names, gender, nationality, as well as postal and email addresses.

“The FFF is dedicated to safeguarding all entrusted data and continuously enhances its security protocols to combat the increasing variety and evolving nature of cyber-attacks,” it added.
