Sheffield Wednesday has signed Nathan Redmond, a former winger for Norwich and Southampton, on a short-term contract that will last until January.
The 31-year-old had been a free agent since leaving Burnley in May.
He has been training with the Owls, who currently sit at the bottom of the Championship, during his time without a club.
Redmond boasts a career that includes 276 Premier League appearances, with 195 of those for Southampton from 2016 to 2023, during which he earned one cap for England.
Sheffield Wednesday is currently on -4 points and trailing by 20 points from safety, having secured just one victory this season following a 12-point deduction for entering administration in October.
Administrators are currently working to identify a preferred bidder for the club and aim to finalize this process by Friday, December 5.
