On Wednesday night, Arsenal triumphed over Bayern Munich with a 3-1 scoreline, showcasing a particularly commanding second-half performance that cemented their victory.

The Gunners had to adapt to a game with less ball possession than usual, and Bayern excellently contained them to limited set-piece opportunities in the first half.
Given Bayern’s impressive 18-match unbeaten streak and their position at the top of the Champions League, their ability to play strongly should come as no surprise.
This made Mikel Arteta even more delighted that his side was able to elevate their game in the second half and secure the win.

“Individually, we rose to the challenges posed by these teams. They recognize the hard work we put into preparing for each match.
“We made adjustments, and despite the injuries we’re still facing, our players performed magnificently. I’m extremely satisfied.
“I understand the challenges posed by the match we played and how demanding each play was. I believe we were exceptional.”

“Looking at Bayern Munich this season, they’ve been the best team in Europe,” Rice told TNT Sports. “Their winning games reflect that.
“We were aware of the kind of match we were about to engage in. It was perhaps the toughest tactical challenge we faced all season. Their movement and ability to manipulate play demands high levels of communication and thought.
“It was an exceptional performance all around, especially considering we were up against Bayern Munich, a side that has been phenomenal this year. I thought we were outstanding tonight.”
