After completing the initial phase of his recovery at home, the 33-year-old has been participating in training sessions with Hansi Flick for several days, still working individually away from the main squad and other goalkeepers.

Ter Stegen is eager to make himself available as soon as possible, with an eye on his professional future. According to club sources, he is on the right track.

While he has expressed his intention to compete for the starting goalkeeper position at Barça, Ter Stegen understands that he may not be Flick’s first choice. Consequently, a transfer could become a viable option.

His goal is to regain match fitness, which is why he is eager to return to action.

Reports from Turkey indicate that multiple clubs have shown interest in acquiring him for the second half of the season. However, there are currently no concrete developments on this front.
