Juventus may have to make do without Dusan Vlahovic until 2026, as manager Luciano Spalletti announced that the striker ‘will be unavailable for some time’ due to an adductor injury.
The forward was rested during midweek for the Champions League match against Bodo/Glimt but started tonight’s game against Cagliari at the Allianz Juventus Stadium in Turin.
However, he was forced to leave the pitch just 30 minutes into the game, visibly upset after sustaining a muscular injury.

“It’s a strain, and he will be sidelined for an extended period,” Spalletti confirmed in his press conference following the 2-1 win in Serie A.
This was evident as Vlahovic hobbled off, telling the coach, “Mister, I’ve really hurt myself,” while making his way to the bench.

Typically, an adductor strain like his may require a month of recovery, meaning it’s likely Vlahovic won’t return to play until 2026.

This is a significant setback for Juventus, who will play six matches over the next month across Serie A, the Champions League, and the Coppa Italia.
They will host Udinese in the Round of 16 of the Coppa Italia on December 2 and then take on Napoli in Serie A.

A crucial home game against Pafos in the Champions League is scheduled for December 10, followed by challenging domestic matches against Bologna and Roma.
The year will conclude with a fixture against Pisa on December 27.
So far this season, Vlahovic has contributed six goals and two assists in 17 competitive appearances for Juventus.
