Inter Milan manager Cristian Chivu praised his squad following an impressive 5-1 victory at home against Venezia in the Coppa Italia on Wednesday.
In an interview with Radio TV Serie A, as reported by FCInterNews, Chivu commended Inter’s bravery and resolve.

The Venezia defense struggled to cope with Inter’s offensive prowess throughout the match.
Chivu’s team delivered a stunning performance for the San Siro fans, showcasing remarkable finishing as multiple players scored spectacular goals.

Francesco Pio Esposito scored a stunning long-range goal to extend Inter’s lead midway through the first half.

Marcus Thuram also contributed with a superb low shot from outside the box.
Additionally, Ange-Yoan Bonny capped off the scoring with a magnificent half-volley past Venezia’s goalkeeper Matteo Grandi.
It’s worth noting that Andy Diouf netted his first goal in Italian football, breaking the deadlock early on.
Chivu also took the opportunity to rest several key players, including Hakan Calhanoglu and Lautaro Martinez.
“For many of these players, it was their first experience, and some played out of their usual positions,” the 45-year-old coach remarked. “They showed great courage, determination, and attitude.
“I’m pleased they had the opportunity to experience the atmosphere of San Siro.”
