Previous sources indicate that the transfer fee for the twins could be as high as £9 million, with both players expected to sign five-year contracts in North London.

Since their contracts won’t take effect until August 2027, they are anticipated to last until 2032.

James Olley reported for ESPN this week that Arsenal has come to a deal in principle to acquire the Ecuadorian twins from Independiente Del Valle, noting that the Gunners successfully fended off strong competition from various top European clubs for the twins’ signatures.

Olley suggested that this deal represents a significant achievement for Arsenal’s recruitment team, which has been monitoring the twins for over a year.

The proven pathway to first-team opportunities exemplified by Myles Lewis-Skelly, Ethan Nwaneri, and Max Dowman played a crucial role in facilitating this transfer.

Edwin Quintero is a left-footed right winger with experience on the Ecuador U17 national team, while Holger Quintero is a right-footed midfielder also capped at the U17 level for Ecuador. Both players made their U17 debuts in the same match against Costa Rica last August.
