Moore-Taylor Faces Three

Forest Green Rovers captain Jordan Moore-Taylor has suffered a broken ankle during training and is expected to be sidelined for the next three months.

The centre-back has featured in 18 of the 21 matches for the club in the National League this season.

Additionally, Ryan Inniss has strained a calf muscle and will be unavailable for approximately six weeks.

Manager Robbie Savage mentioned that he has held discussions with director of football Mark Bowen and the club’s ownership regarding the potential acquisition of another centre-back or defensive midfielder.

“We’ve seen our squad go from having four first-choice centre-halves to just [Laurent] Mendy and [Abraham] Kanu. Given our current style of play, we’re effectively down to three players focused on defense,” Savage told BBC Radio Gloucestershire.
