Lautaro Martinez stated that Inter proved their strength in their decisive 4-0 triumph against a formidable Como side. He also discussed how he has learned to handle criticism.
The Nerazzurri entered the match under pressure, as Como had been one of the top teams in Serie A and had only conceded a single goal in their previous games this season.

“We demonstrated our strength today against an excellent team like Como, who has been performing very well this season with talented young players and a coach with a positive approach to football. However, we showed our determination for all the available points, and this was a crucial victory,” Lautaro Martinez remarked to DAZN Italia.

This goal continues Lautaro’s impressive record, as he has now scored against 30 of the 31 clubs he has faced in Serie A, with Chievo being the only exception in his appearances.
Before the match, he received recognition for his position in Inter’s all-time scoring rankings, leading to the question of whether his standing is undervalued as he is still at the peak of his career.
“Sometimes I don’t even realize the milestones I achieve through hard work and dedication. My upbringing wasn’t easy, but I wouldn’t be here without my family’s support, so I am incredibly thankful to them. I also appreciate the fans who have shown me love and support from day one. I’m grateful and demonstrate this by giving my all on the pitch,” Lautaro Martinez responded.

It’s astonishing to recall that there was criticism of his performances just a few weeks back.
“I have learned to handle criticism; when you’re young and inexperienced, it can sting. I’ve learned from others that what truly matters is the support from my teammates,” he said.
This emphatic win underlined Inter’s Scudetto ambitions, temporarily placing them at the top of the table as they await the weekend’s results from Milan, Napoli, and Roma.

Luis Henrique made his third consecutive start across all competitions, while Carlos Augusto came off the bench to make an immediate impact down the right flank.
“I’m thrilled about the goal, but most importantly, the win, as the team played exceptionally well. I always put the team first and will give my all in whatever position I’m assigned,” Carlos Augusto remarked to DAZN Italia.
