Sixth-tier team Macclesfield will face Crystal Palace, the defending champions, in the FA Cup’s third round.
The draw features four matchups between Premier League clubs, with Tottenham set to host Aston Villa, Sunderland visiting Everton, Newcastle to take on Bournemouth at St James’ Park, and Manchester United squaring off against Brighton at home.

Another sixth-tier team, Weston-super-Mare, will make history as they reach this stage of the competition for the first time in their 138-year existence, traveling to League Two side Grimsby.
Premier League leaders Arsenal will take on Portsmouth, while Manchester City will host League One’s Exeter City and Liverpool welcomes third-tier Barnsley.
In addition to the Premier League clashes, there are also two London derbies: Chelsea will visit Charlton and West Ham will face Queens Park Rangers. Fulham is set to play Middlesbrough, and Leeds will battle Derby County.
Boreham Wood, the sole remaining non-league club in the draw, will meet Burton Albion, who recently defeated Brackley.

All matches are scheduled to take place during the weekend commencing Saturday, January 10, 2026.
In a change from previous years, there will be no replays if the matches end in a draw. Instead, all ties will proceed to extra time and, if needed, a penalty shootout.
