Im Here to Stay: Aaron…

Max Aarons is embracing his time at Rangers under Danny Rohl and is open to the possibility of extending his contract.

The full-back, who joined Ibrox on a season-long loan from Bournemouth under the previous management of Russell Martin, faced challenges at the beginning of the season, including a month without playing following his red card during the heavy 6-0 defeat to Club Brugge in the Champions League qualifiers.

However, the 25-year-old has found his feet again under Rohl and has started three out of the last four matches.

“Absolutely,” Aarons responded when asked about the idea of staying in Glasgow. “Playing for this club and at Ibrox is an incredible experience that every player aspires to.”

“The start was tough, but things have been great since the new manager arrived, and I feel really confident.”

“I’m really enjoying my time here.”

Aarons emphasized the need for a “big performance” from Rangers in their quest for a Europa League lifeline as they prepare to face Ferencvaros away tonight.

With Danny Rohl’s team sitting 33rd out of 36 in the Europa League table, having garnered just one point from five matches, they must win their remaining three games to have any hope of progressing.

“Every game is a must-win,” Aarons stated. “We need a solid performance and, most importantly, a victory.”

“We require a significant effort, incorporating elements from our last game to build confidence. Players like Bojan Miovski and Mikey Moore scoring and performing well will be crucial for us, but we also need to be strong defensively while aiming to create chances.”
