As reported by Gazzetta dello Sport, AC Milan has rekindled informal discussions with Joshua Zirkzee’s agent, Kia Joorabchian, while also considering Mauro Icardi and Niclas Füllkrug as potential targets.
Milan is gearing up to secure a new center-forward during the January transfer window, and recent reports indicate that they have resumed conversations with the Manchester United striker Zirkzee.

Milan expressed interest in the Dutch striker two years ago, but was unable to strike a deal over agent fees, leading Zirkzee to join Manchester United from Bologna.
The report suggests that Milan has resumed talks with Zirkzee’s representative in recent weeks.
It’s widely known that Zirkzee is also a prime target for Roma this January, and Manchester United may entertain discussions for a loan deal with an obligation to buy at €35m.

As per Gazzetta, Milan prefers a straightforward option to buy for Zirkzee. The club is aiming for a traditional center-forward but sees Zirkzee’s technical ability and Serie A experience as valuable assets.
The report also highlights that Füllkrug from West Ham and Icardi from Galatasaray are on Milan’s shortlist. However, the club’s strategy for the winter transfer window may hinge on the situation of Santiago Gimenez, who remains adamant about not departing San Siro next month.
