Former Juventus and Roma forward Daniel Fonseca has suggested that Juventus should contemplate signing Robert Lewandowski at the season’s end, while Joshua Zirkzee would be the ‘ideal’ fit for Roma this January.
Roma and Juventus will face off at the Allianz Stadium in Turin this evening for a key Serie A Round 16 matchup.

“It’s going to be an intense match, reflecting the energy both Juventus and Roma displayed in their last outings. It’s an important duel,” said the former Uruguay international.

“Gasperini deserves a significant attacking reinforcement in January. I’ve heard about Manchester United’s Zirkzee; he would be an excellent addition. Securing three points in Turin would be a fantastic holiday gift for Roma, potentially keeping their title hopes alive until the end of the season,” Fonseca commented.
Juventus, meanwhile, recently triumphed over Bologna and are moving up the standings under new manager Luciano Spalletti, trailing the fourth-place Giallorossi by just four points.
“Championship matches often hinge on moments of brilliance, like those from Yildiz. I’ve mentioned before that Kenan reminds me of Francescoli, a legend to both me and Zidane,” Fonseca remarked.
‘Juventus Should Consider Lewandowski’

“The Turkish player is brilliant and can shift the momentum of a game. Another key player for Juventus is Conceiçao,” Fonseca noted.
“Gasperini also has formidable talents, particularly Wesley. I’ve seen him play frequently at Flamengo; he’s a powerhouse, reminiscent of Cafu.”
Regarding Juventus’ transfer plans, Fonseca concluded: “I still support Locatelli. He is a great leader and displays quality. Meanwhile, I’d explore options for future attacking talent. With Vlahovic injured and his contract nearing its end, if I were Juventus, I’d consider Lewandowski on a free transfer. It could be a signing akin to Modric’s; Lewandowski has been an elite player for a decade, and a striker’s scoring instincts don’t vanish, even at the age of 37 or 38.”
