Had Leeds United striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin showcased this impressive form a bit sooner, he would have certainly been my pick for Sports Personality of the Year.
With four goals in four matches, his remarkable leap to score against Brentford last week was particularly noteworthy.

Kudos to Leeds manager Daniel Farke as well. I’ve mentioned it before, but I’m genuinely pleased for him.
A few weeks back, he was dismissed by many as incapable of managing in the Premier League, and it seemed some were eager for his dismissal. However, he has proven his critics wrong.
Farke’s team is always a tough opponent on their home turf and will be eager for another positive result this Saturday, though I expect it to be a tightly contested match.
Crystal Palace excels at counter-attacking and has been particularly effective away from home – they’ve won their last three away games and currently hold the best away record in the Premier League this season, with five wins, a draw, and only two losses across eight matches.

So, do I side with the vibrant energy of Leeds or back the savvy play of Palace?
I’m leaning towards Oliver Glasner’s squad to edge it out; however, they have a Europa Conference League match on Thursday that has previously stretched their resources.
They will also be without Ismaila Sarr, who is at the Africa Cup of Nations with Senegal, which leads me to predict another draw.
Sutton’s prediction: 1-1
