As reported by Gazzetta, both clubs anticipate finalizing the agreement on Monday, allowing the 32-year-old to participate in Milan’s first match of 2026 against Genoa on January 8.

The report indicates that the teams are exchanging paperwork to conclude an initial loan arrangement with the option to purchase for €13 million.

According to Gazzetta, Füllkrug will earn just over €1 million during his six-month tenure at Stadio Meazza.

Milan’s centre-forward Santiago Gimenez has recently undergone ankle surgery and will be sidelined for several weeks, prompting the Rossoneri to seek a new striker for the latter part of the season.

While the Rossoneri have been knocked out of the Supercoppa Italiana, they currently sit second in the Serie A standings, just one point behind city rivals Inter.
