Gary Neville has criticized Ruben Amorim’s tactics following Manchester United’s disappointing 1-1 draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Tuesday night.
The Red Devils were anticipated to win easily against the struggling Wolves, who had not secured a win in the Premier League this season.

However, United delivered a lackluster performance, missing a prime opportunity to grab all three points at Old Trafford.
Neville took aim at Amorim for switching back to a 3-4-3 formation instead of sticking with the 4-2-3-1 setup that had led to a 1-0 victory against Newcastle United on Boxing Day.
In a discussion with Sky Sports, Neville remarked: “This isn’t right again.
“Having watched United over the past five or six weeks, including six of their last seven games, I have a sense of what feels right and what doesn’t, and I’m genuinely surprised.
“[Joshua] Zirkzee was forced to track back to the right-back position, [Diogo] Dalot was playing as a right wing back, Ayden Heaven was misplaced as the right centre back, while [Patrick] Dorgu struggled again at left back.

“None of this compares favorably to their previous performances where players were in better positions, and it’s fair to say that. The fans are likely feeling the same way as we do.”
United should have easily won against Wolves, who had suffered 11 consecutive league defeats before this match.
Joshua Zirkzee’s deflected shot put United ahead in the 27th minute, but Ladislav Krejci equalized just before half-time.
In the second half, home supporters repeatedly chanted “attack, attack, attack” as their team struggled to generate chances and had to settle for a single point.

Aside from Senne Lammens and Ayden Heaven, most players delivered disappointing performances.
Although Patrick Dorgu scored the match-winner against Newcastle, he had little impact as the left wing-back against Wolves.
Diogo Dalot underperformed, and Matheus Cunha’s presence diminished significantly as the game wore on.
Fans expressed their frustration by booing their own team at full-time.
United will aim to bounce back on Sunday when they face Leeds United away.
