Inter Milan Set Price Tag…

Inter Milan has set a €35 million price tag for Davide Frattesi as Fenerbahce takes the lead over Juventus in the race for the midfielder, whose future remains uncertain.

Frattesi has faced a challenging start to the season at Inter due to injuries and stiff competition in the midfield, limiting his playing time despite showcasing his abilities at times.

According to Corriere dello Sport, the scenario is reminiscent of last season when Frattesi struggled to find his footing consistently.

“Just as he did a year ago, Frattesi is on the sidelines and is hoping his representatives can secure him a move away from Milan,” the publication notes.

Regular playing time is essential for him at this point in his career. “It’s crucial for him to get minutes on the pitch to rebuild his confidence ahead of the World Cup playoffs and, ideally, the tournament itself.”

The former Sassuolo player has expressed a desire to remain in Italy.

Corriere reports that Frattesi is “intrigued by the possibility of reuniting with Luciano Spalletti,” the coach he had a positive experience with on the national team.

While Juventus is still watching, they have fallen behind in the race. Meanwhile, Inter is becoming more receptive to offers from abroad, with Fenerbahce making significant advances and currently representing the most viable option.

From Inter’s viewpoint, the terms are straightforward. “At Viale della Liberazione, they won’t impose obstacles, as long as the offers are deemed appropriate,” adds Corriere dello Sport. “The benchmark for Frattesi’s transfer fee stands at €35 million.”

With interest surging, the next few weeks could be pivotal.
