The Blaugrana arrive at the Spanish Super Cup in Saudi Arabia buoyed by a remarkable eight-match winning streak.
The goal is straightforward: defend their title, which may be considered a “minor” trophy, yet carries the promise of a significant boost in morale for the crucial phase of the season.
Barcelona’s Strategy for the Super Cup
According to Diario SPORT, the Barcelona team will depart for Jeddah this Monday at 12:30 PM (CET).
Before their flight, Hansi Flick’s squad will hold a training session at 9:30 AM at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper, followed by the announcement of the squad list by the German coach.
It is anticipated that Ronald Araujo will join the team in order to continue his recovery with his fellow players.

Upon arriving in Saudi Arabia around 6:00 PM (Spanish time), the players, coaching staff, and directors will head to The Ritz-Carlton Jeddah hotel to rest.
Preparation intensifies on Tuesday, with Hansi Flick and a selected player set to address the media in a press conference 45 minutes before the team’s training session, which will commence at 4:00 PM at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium.
Barcelona will kick off their title defense in the semi-finals against Athletic Club on Wednesday at 8:00 PM.
If they manage to defeat the Basque team, who are having a challenging season, the Blaugrana will face the winner of the Real Madrid vs. Atlético Madrid match in the final on Sunday.
