New San Siro Plans Tunnel…

AC Milan and Inter Milan are set to introduce a Tunnel Club at their new San Siro stadium, drawing inspiration from Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City stadiums. This exciting feature will allow fans to engage closely with players right before the game.

Approval has been granted to construct the new stadium in the existing parking lot of the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

Following its completion, the current stadium can either be demolished or repurposed for other uses.

This project is still in the design phase, and La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that architects Manica and Foster + Partners are planning to include a Tunnel Club as part of their design.

This exclusive section will offer select fans the chance to watch players prepare in the tunnel just before kick-off, viewing them through a glass panel.

Fans will have the unique opportunity to stand alongside the teams and connect with them moments before the match begins.

This premium experience is already being offered at Tottenham and Manchester City, particularly drawing influence from the Spurs’ initiative.

The new San Siro is expected to accommodate approximately 71,500 spectators, featuring two tiers and an oval design, a departure from the iconic rectangular shape of the current stadium.
