Andy Robertson expressed his desire to continue playing for Liverpool beyond the summer, when his current contract comes to an end.
The Scottish left-back has made 20 appearances for the Reds this season, but only four of those were starts in the Premier League, following the summer signing of Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth.
In a recent statement, the 31-year-old remarked: “I think I’ve performed well in the matches I’ve participated in this season. While I may not have featured as much as I had hoped, it’s not something I find surprising. We’ll see what the future holds.”
