Enzo Raiola, the agent of Gianluigi Donnarumma, has left the door open for a potential return to Serie A for the Italian goalkeeper, despite his current happiness at Manchester City.
According to Calciomercato, Raiola addressed the situation after an impressive performance from Donnarumma, who made several crucial saves during the Manchester Derby, despite City losing 2-0 to Manchester United. This highlighted his significance to Pep Guardiola’s squad.

In a conversation with Rai, Enzo Raiola noted that Donnarumma is enjoying his experience in the Premier League but did not dismiss the possibility of returning to Italy. “At Manchester City, he has found tranquility with the team and environment, and he is very positive about the project. He’s also beginning to adapt to the English league,” Raiola said.
However, the agent added a hint of speculation, stating: “Recently, he joked about spending five or six years there as an adventure, but it was just a joke… If an opportunity arises to come back to Italy, we would certainly consider it.”
While a move back to Italy appeals to the former Milan goalkeeper, there are significant financial challenges involved. Donnarumma commands a record salary at the Etihad, earning around €15 million net per season, making any transfer to Inter or Juventus a complicated financial endeavor for those clubs.
