Dovbyk has successful…

Artem Dovbyk successfully underwent surgery today in Finland.

The decision to proceed with the operation was made after post-Lecce examinations revealed that his left thigh tendon injury was more severe than initially anticipated. In a post-surgery photo on Instagram, he shared, “See you soon.”

After a two-month recovery, Dovbyk scored in his return against Genoa, only to sustain the new injury minutes later.

He is now facing roughly three months of rehabilitation.

“Injuries are a part of the game. I’m focused on my recovery and coming back stronger than ever. Thank you all for your support; it truly means a lot,” Dovbyk stated in his Instagram update.

If all goes according to plan, the Ukrainian forward could be fit for the match against Inter on April 4th, as he aims to be ready for the potential quarterfinals in the Europa League.
